Never had Aelita been cursed with any sensation quite like this. Never had she felt this sort of pain, and never had she seen quite so much blood. The cut was shallow, yes; but it was across her calf, and from what she could remember, injuries in that area tended to bleed somewhat profusely. She had cleansed the wounded area best she could with a bit of snow from the sill of a broken window, and had even managed to sweep the shattered glass under a desk and out of the way before collapsing on the floor, leaning against a wall ( ... )

Hikaru knelt swiftly down at her side, staring at her evenly. "What did you do to yourself, anyhow, huh?" he asked, his tone a bit clipped. He saw where it bled. The boy frowned, looking at the cut. Seriously, what did she do to herself? With a small sigh, he glanced at her. "I don't have any bandages," he commented dryly. Her cheeks tinted the faintest shade of pink, and she cast a glance over at the desk. "When I walked - stumbled in, I ran into that table. It was dark, and I knocked over a glass, I think." The rest of the story was more embarrassing, and she blushed deeper. "I... tripped over a chair and landed in the broken pieces." She usually wasn't such a klutz, but the sounds of an obvious battle had been so loud and close, that she'd just had to hide.

Wondering why she hadn't thought of it before, the pinkette unwound the thin scarf from her neck and offered it forward a little awkwardly. "This should work," she said quietly, still embarrassed. "I've... never bound a wound before." Realizing that maybe he hadn't either, she drew her arm back halfway, gloved fingers closing around the cloth a bit. "I could try, though..."

Hikaru gave her an even stare, frowning, his hand clasped around the scarf. He stared at her for a long moment, making it rather awkward, then grinned, almost like a smirk. This was his job. He gently snatched it from her hands, leaning down and taking the girl's leg in his one hand. As he began to wrap the wound, he snorted, smirking. "Klutz" was all he said.
