"My apologies for prying," the mage said politely with a smile. The ofuda scroll was gone. He was most curious about Hiei though as he was not very familiar with demons.
Somehow, that smile didn't really look too convincing to the other. Perhaps, it was just his way of being cautious about everything now. Not that it mattered very much to him in the first place, but in this place, this cursed irritating place, even harmless people turn out to be a nuisance. The demon did not move from his position, and but stood t here and not responding to the boy.
But the mage had turned back to his studies, catching a pile of books that had nearly fallen over. But the window had been left wide open, almost as a silent invitation. Marron could see the irritation in the other and if the other decided to come in.
The demon looked once over, and started to casually walk away, but seeing the boy didn't bother him anymore and vanished from the window, the fire koorime slowly made his way back. Out of his own curiousity, and the kid, unlike the others did not bug him as much. He simply asked and then returned to whatever the hell he was doing. The youkai seemed to be curious slightly, but he didn't exactly show it through his expression. It could be a mere inspection, seeing how this boy lived and such, and if he would be proven a threat to him in the later future.
Marron was making sure that his other books would not fall over before he returned to the thick book open on the table. He had a feeling the demon would come in but he did not move from where he sat, writing down notes on the blank parchment that was off to one side.
