The Don, however, was perhaps a little too persistent at times. And if he was going to be blown off, then he wanted to resort to stalking, as he had a clearly unhealthy obsession with women--especially sexy ones.
And especially if there were more than one.
So even though he'd been blown off, he tailed right behind them. Because he was that smart and couldn't handle just leaving the two alone to themselves if somehow he'd have a chance with them. (OOC: Yeah, right...)
"Ah! But... that still seems... far too disrespectful...," she replied, bowing her head slightly. Despite being a bit flustered over the suggestion of how she should refer to Yoruichi... she felt, at that moment, content. It was odd... there was always something to do, at home. Duties that had to be performed, reports that had to be completed, missions that had to be done... It was fulfilling, of course, but she couldn't say that it made her truly happy. Not in the way that simply walking into the ballroom with Yoruichi did, particularly not after the same had expressed any sort of preference for her company.
The moment ended, though, when she noticed that the creepy, ugly man was still following them. They were being stalked, it seemed... and, despite her intimate familiarity with stalking, she would not stand for it here and now. Looking up at Yoruichi, eyes a bit more businesslike than they had been a moment before, she asked, "What should be done about him? He isn't giving up..."
"..." Yoruichi sighed, and turned to face Don Corneo, being careful and releasing Soifon's arm somewhat. She turned to face him and smiled, less than pleasantly. "Could you leave us, now?" she was trying not to seethe, and was trying to be remotely friendly, but this man was irritating. And she really didn't want to pick a fight with anyone.
What should've been considered a blunt 'GO AWAY' sign to the Don came out as 'RAWRRRR~ feisty' instead. "OH~HOHOHO~ I'm SOOOOO~ sorry, but it seems that I'm going the same direction as you are~"
With that he opened up a little more distance between them, deciding to content himself in stalking from a little further away. If he couldn't be in on the action, he definitely didn't want to miss out on any, that was for sure.
"Then walk in front of us," Soifon said, giving the man a pointed glare. She was not about to let the slime follow them, as he so clearly wished; this was to be a night to remember, and he was not going to ruin it!
She stood where she was, waiting for the man to pass them, and trying not to look too irritated; after all, she knew her face screwed up when she did that, and... well, any tiny little thing that might prove off-putting to Yoruichi was to be avoided at ANY COST.
She knew she was being silly, but... well, it was still her plan.
