This is really, really brilliant!

I love all the CDC stories but this is just awesome - because it involved almost all the characters and how they came together to help Jack - almost like a family. I liked the Doc who was with Inato and loved the banter between Ianto and Jack at the end!

Thanks for your lovely comments - SammyGirl and I very definitely see "our CDC boys" as a family - protecting each other and looking out for each other. The Doc was straight out of my imagination - so I am glad you liked him! (oh, and SammyGirl is the Welsh speaker... so anything Ianto and Jack say in Welsh is down to her!) Thanks for reading!

I am so not a welsh speaker - don't listen to her!;o) It all comes from a welsh translation web site and the complicated stuff I check with a welsh friend. Although 'Nos da Cariad' even I know. But it is true I 'encouraged' her to put it in.

After reading this chapter I went to the CDC site and read all of them. What an amzing, well written and well thought out series!!!
I have only read Torchwood slash before, so am having a little trouble dealing with characters I think of as totally straight in a slash setting. As long as I don't think of the roles they normally play, and just enjoy the writing it works really well.

It's so nice to hear that you bothered to read all the stories at the CDC site - thank you! SammyGirl is the Torchwood expert, so it was her skill that obviously encouraged you "through the door" . Mac and Danny are my particular weakness I'm afraid, any of the pairings connected to the Magnificent Seven, or Gil and Nick, we are equally to blame for... what can I tell you - we are just purple souls!! For a long (very long) time, we had written in various fandoms, but we decided to bring all "our boys" together under one roof... and the CDC was the result!! As writing seems to be something we are both addicted to, I think I can safely say we intend to continue... ad infinitum (or maybe that should be ad nauseum ) Keep reading, and thank you!
