I never wrote about our trip home, but I spoke with Dad today while Mom was at the hospital, so I thought I'd write about both at once.

He was in much better shape when I saw him than when he first entered the hospital.  Casts are on both arms up to the elbow and his left leg was in a cast with external hardware poking out of it.  He had a bandage

I'm so happy to hear about your dad doing so much better! You guys are always in my thoughts and prayers! When is your fall break? And, also, are you guys coming home for Thanksgiving? I'll see you for sure at Christmas time, at least :)

I'm heading home for fall break Oct 13-16, but Jake will be here in MI.I'm not sure if we're doing Thanksgiving out here or not, that will depend a lot on how Dad's doing by then.

X-mas break starts Dec 21, and we'll definitely be in NY for a couple weeks then.
