Today I write to you about forgiveness. I've been thinking about it recently(for reasons that don't quite need to be discussed and if you've been reading for any length of time, you'd undestand. Or if you were every completely and utterly betrayed. Or if you hold a grudge so tightly its little grudgy eyeballs pop out. Something like that

yes, I often find myself holding grudges oh so tightly. Even ones that I almost forgot about will pop up with its beady little eyes as soon as I see the dog kicker. *sigh* I wish that people could apologize, could admit that they are wrong instead of just demanding forgiveness.

And great point- whether you have been able to forgive or not is not dependent on being near the puppy kicker. My pastor told me that Christian love is a result of forgiveness, not friendship. We owe Christian love to everyone, but we do not owe friendship to all.

May the puppy grow strong and learn to trust again, but to trust one willing to be kind and give puppy treats ^^
