Question : Veg Foods

Feb 26, 2009 15:30

Hey guys! I have a quick question say what you like, would you eat Veg foods? Like soy instead of meat? Veg foods are full of protein low in carbs and fat and taste just as good! I personally eat them all the time and in not quite a vegetarian. So how about you guys? And if you do whats your favorite brand? :)

I'm not vegetarian/vegan, but my mother is becoming one.. sorta.

I find it pretty okay to just eat vegetables, rice and fish. o.o

Tofu as well.

I'm not really a fan of artificial meat, and haven't eaten much in that category. Meat is meat. I eat meat for meat, and vegetables for vegetables.

meat and vegatables have some of the same qualities (veggies minus the fat)

I... don't think 'qualities' is the right word... they can have the same 'nutrition' if you eat the right things. What about iron though? Where would you get that from?

I know you get Iodine from fish.

to me it has the same qualitites because veggies can be made to taste like meat and I doubt some people could tell if you gave them vegan food...but thats just me

you get iron from green leafy veggies, they are packed full of it

Yupp!!
I eat meat like one or two days a week and then I eat like 100-150 gr (I don't know american measurements, sorry >0<) so I often eat veg stuff!
I eat toy like 1 time a week and I use soy milk for my cereals every morning!
My fav brand is ummm AlproSoya? It's the only one I really know.
Occasionally I eat stuff like soy-sausages but I don't really like that stuff and I think it is too expensive. Most of the time these are full of chemistry and fat as well -0-;
So yeah, I hope this helped ^^

i personally don't like soy milk because its sweet
I think in america its 1000 - 1500 calories (and thats to lose weight, but keeps you thin)
