So if I DO understand you correctly... earliest memory of my life goes way back to 2 if you can believe that. My parents weaned finally weaned me off the pacifier and I'd run around looking for it to no avail. I specifically remember sucking on one of my toy doll's plastic, hard pacifier instead. It wasn't the same :(
