COMPULSIVE EATER:  I'm hungry.

HEALTH NUT:  I can't be hungry.  I've had about 8,000 calories today.

COMPULSIVE EATER:  It's not my fault.  I'm on the rag.  I always need about 8,000 calories a day when I'm on the rag.

HEALTH NUT:  I do not *need* them.  I am not even really hungry.  I am just obsessing about food.

Oh, I was merely restraining my laughter because it was funny. I've found that it's not very nice and potentially dangerous to laugh at a person that refers to themselves as "we." :-p

You are safe. I only dissociate with matters o food. ;-) Please, laugh at my expense! I figure that if others can laugh, my suffering will not be in vain. :-p

That's the story of my life even when I'm *not* on the rag. Except I would never crave granola. More like pizza. And burritos. Maybe some greasy Chinese food.

I had the giant burrito the day before. Granola was the ONLY thing left in the house with sugar and fat. Oh, how I love sugar and fat!

I have this same conversation with myself every day, but who wins is greatly influenced by the time of the month and the weather. Behold. The cold season is upon us. *sobs*
