My personal trainer, Anubis, decided that I was going to run a mile as fast as I could yesterday.  I didn't clock it, so I have no idea how fast I went, but Anubis actually had to gallop a few times instead of just carrying on with his meager trot.  I haven't run a mile for speed in a while since my knees had been giving me so much grief, but holy
