It doesn't look like taking a job with the Vegas PD is a good idea.  The income to cost of living ratio there is fabulous... if you buy.  If you need to hole up somewhere to save money for a down, forget it.  It's cheaper to buy than for me, Kristine, a live-in nanny, and the zoo to rent a place.  So, I sit tight and wait for Arnold to give the Sac ( Read more... )

I will never discourage anyone from trying to get the same bod they had at 21. Good luck!

Ha! Well that bod is long gone, I'm afraid. Twice I've been at my pre-pregnancy weight... and I was still 2 full sizes larger than I was then. I don't think I'll ever see a size 0 again, but I'm okay with that. ;-) My goal is pure fitness... with the slight improvement of physique as a lovely side effect.

You know, apart from being pregnant, I've never been more than 10 pounds over my ideal body weight (that would be, MY ideal body weight, not the body weight the docs think I should have). Yet, I still feel exactly as you do. I can't imagine how difficult it is for women who struggle more than I do with their weight in this society. Hollywood has not done us any favors. It is VERY hard to keep health the primary focus when the Renaissance body is no longer en vogue.

Yup. I think I will have to bring the vet a third bag o' poo. But this time, I will hand it directly to Dr. Marks and trust no one else with the results.
