Yeah, I have a lot to catch up on... Doesn't help that LJ's glitching over the past couple of weeks have stalled me from posting everything I wanted to post up here. Better late than never, though I just don't know what issue I want to touch on first. I'd like to touch on everything in this one entry, but then it's just going to get long, and

Your entry touches a chord within me, cos this is the reason why I left my overseas Christian Fellowship two years ago. :x They always loled at my cosplay and anime likes, and I kept having to defend my church in Singapore to everyone I met (it's a charistmatic mega church, my bad). When I told them I wasn't straight, one of them told me "I've never met a gay person before." Possibly because they were scared they would be discriminated against?

I was a bible study leader, and I had to leave anyway because in the end, I felt like my fellowship was no fellowship for me. T-T Don't feel bad if you can't think of how to pray. We are taught how to pray as memorisable things, but as long as you're communicating with God from your heart, that's what's most important. (Off-tangent, but praying out loud in a group is also something that came with practice/doing it a lot.)
