Isn't it FUCKING AMAZING!!!!

I'm listening to it right now - I can hardly wait to have the CD firmly in my hands. One bloody week for this music to be legally MINE!! MWAHAHAHA!

I love how bits of the older score got incorporated into the new pieces.

Yea - me too. Giving it 8.5/10 stars. 1 song I was like "ugh" on, and several re-uses of TF1 themes. BUT overall, really loved it. And the Yanni-esque "vocals" - omg *dies*

Damn I want June 23 to hurry up & get here.

eta: If they get anyone other than Jablowsky to do TF3.... I will protest loudly!! This guy hits the moods on the head. He's easily getting to be a composer that I'm like "OH REALLY? Must be sure to check out that movie ST/Score" similar to many folks for Danny Elfman.

He's a Hans Zimmer protege apparently, and from the same stable as Harry Gregson-Williams of the Narnia Soundtracks.

I was pleasantly surprised to hear "Autobots" and "Arrival to Earth" in some of the later tracks actually.

Which one were you 'ugh' on?

And "Infinite White" makes me melt. I love the vocalist doing the lower Middle Eastern chant. Her inflection of some of the "lyrics" is lovely.

I think "the Fallen" was the ugh track - just wasn't...menacing enough. NEST was interesting - I'm thinking that might be the Shanghai-scene music. Fits, and I can't recall any other NEST-heavy scenes it'd work in.

And yeah - Infinite White made me melt - along w/ the several Autobots/Arrival nods. tomb of the Primes was lovely & awe-inspiring - even w/o visuals. Having read book & comic - and VERY MUCH looking forward to see how they visualize that scene.

Thought as much... I found "Fallen" pretty creepy actually. Lots of electronics in there and still has that Egyptian undertone. Not a fave, but interesting concept.

I almost Squeed out loud on the train when some of the old themes made an appearance in the latter tracks. Steered clear of the novel and comics. Bought them but resisted cracking them open, and gave them to dad to hide till after I watched ROTF. I want to be a little surprised this year so I'm staying clear of plot spoilers.

Loved NEST. Particularly because I love the melody on New Divide. Easily one of my high faves. "Cargo" and "MOL" also rank pretty high
