Is it true that you have to spend money to make money?

I am a stay at home mom and want to make some money with a very small home business. Something that I can make up from scratch. No pampered chef and etc. Something that is all me.

Any Ideas?

It is absolutely true that you have to spend money to make money.

If you are planning on selling a craft item you have to make it. Then you have to let people know that you have it for sale. Then you have to ship it. Plus you have to have a way for people to get you the money. And since you are now a business mogule, you have to have the book-keeping stuffs to keep up with. And the taxes. And stuff.

Erika does online classes. Can you teach something online? Of course, you first need a blog following in order to get students. heh.

It all depends on what you want to sell. If you're selling something you make from scratch, where are you going to get the materials? They're going to cost you SOMETHING. Unless you pick up stuff off the side of the road and refurbish it....but that's still going to cost something to refurbish it.
