Hi Friends. Stuck at home during Abby's nap getting messages from Omer who is dispatching play-by-play texts from the sidelines at Sammy's soccer game! So far my little ringer has scored five goals which is amazing. He is so on fire this season--something really clicked for him and he has been a real machine on the pitch. Funny though because

That’s great that Sam is doing well with the soccer. I can imagine it’s hard getting into a workout routine- I found it hard when Julia was young. For me the actual mammogram is no big deal it’s the waiting I hate.

Around 41 (I’m saying this now at the ripe old age of 44, lol!) I felt a real change in my physical well- being/health. It SUCKS. Despite doing yoga 4-6 times a week I’m still very stiff when I wake up and later in the day; I’m sort of shocked by that because I’m very flexible. I shudder to think how I’d feel if I weren’t doing yoga!
I think the more we do now to get/be as healthy as possible, the better we will be in the long run.

We're at that age. I started going for alternating mammogram/breast MRIs a couple of years ago due to heightened risk, and I've had two mini scares -- just findings that require an ultrasound, followed by waiting another 6 months to check again. Waiting for those results is hard, even when you can tell yourself rationally that it's probably fine. The what-ifs are so scary! Glad to hear that everything looked ok. I do think they err on the side of a biopsy if they are at all suspicious, so you're probably fine.
I need to get back to exercising too. I was good for a while, then our nanny was away for two separate months and it got difficult to find the time to exercise. I still feel busy having her back, but I really need to prioritize working out.
Have you checked out the Mountain View YMCA? They have cheap, easy childcare.
