At-Home Laser?

Hey, does anybody have first- or second-hand knowledge/experience with the at-home laser hair remover? I'm DESPERATE for laser hair removal on my legs. Waxing gives me a rashy breakout, and shaving leaves my legs feeling stubbly even immediately afterward.

$995? It said $495 for me! Weird!

I think I could get a full series at a laser place for a thousand. Which is why I'm not sure that $500 is enough less to be worth the tedium of doing it yourself (and also makes it critical to hear real knowledge that it ACTUALLY works).

I've done that with the cool draft before. It makes my legs smoother, but not smooth. Never smooth, not even for one minute. However, doing the goosebump thing does give me a nice irritated-follicles rash. *sigh*

Well, of course I'm gonna be biased about seeing a professional. I've had my lower legs done, and I think it's worth going somewhere and getting a package. Since the economy's tanked its much less expensive than it used to be. Also, laser HURTS like a bitch, and I can't imagine inflicting that pain by myself. Make someone else do it so you can't back out!
