Nooooooooo!

I opened up my laptop this morning and something terrible has happened to the screen! I don't know what on earth happened to my laptop which was closed and stashed underneath the side table. But the screen has a giant black splotch on it. It looks like it got cracked somehow. No idea how that could have happened.
