Took this picture last night and truly thought it would all be gone by morning...alas, it is now covered with a crisp layer of ice. Driving will be treacherous today, but we have everything we need, so today will be a baking day!

Someone who lives in the hills was thinking that snowshoes may be de rigueuer today. I'm so jealous! This is the first sunny day in ages. We had flood warnings last night!

Yes, snowshoes would be just the thing! I heard that someone we both know is heading out in some soon. Sounds like fun, although it is still very cold.
