On the other hand, I walked from Cherrygrove to Violet in a few hours instead of a week. This... strangeness is quite efficient.

Well, it appears that the journey between Cherrygrove and Violet took less time than I thought it would. It seems to be a side effect of the squares. Wonderful for travelling, is it not?
