Shotgun Loyalty
A glimpse into the relationship between Rufus and the Turks. Violence, sexism, and politics.

This was originally written in late 2004 and it's still been ages since I've played Final Fantasy VII (which, incidentally, does not belong to me). So it can be considered AU of sorts.

I.

I like the disclaimer: Violence, sexism, and politics. hehe.
I remember this fic!

The characters only seem to speak when necessary and the dialogue is very good, sharp.
You flesh this universe out well. At least it has loads of atmosphere and seems sort of gritty and realistic.
Elena's cheeriness is fascinating when compared to the others...

Haha, yeah, I remember how you didn't like Rude XD

Thank you~ That's exactly what I'd love to hear about this fic because that's what I'm trying to go for. There will be more Elena time, really, and we'll be portrayed more positively. I SWEAR.

I always feel like this fic is degrading to women somehow XD

aha, yeah. I do remember going off about him in a conversation.
Hey, his name rhymes with crude! XD.

I look forward to more ;D...of all the characters. Even Rude!
I may not like him but you write him well :P.

What's interesting though is that she does manage to exist there with the Turks, as she is, sort of set apart in her way of seeing things.
