The complete first chapter of Shotgun Loyalty, that FF7 fic I was writing during study hall the first half of my senior year...
It's more or less a glimpse into the relationship between the Turks and Rufus, and the Turks themselves.
I think I have, uh...four? chapters written? And I still don't know where it's going...

What a disturbingly bent character he is. :)
Since the focus of this chapter seems to be...Rufus' twisted enjoyment while reading the latter report about the violent and degrading nature of Annette's death, go into it like a journal. Did either Rude or Reno note anything in particular that has Rufus utterly enthralled by it ?
I like the bit about Reno and his fascination with the blood and the hair. woah o_o
but how about Rude? Does Rude make some comment about liking to blugeon folks which especially piques (sp?) Rufus' interest ? Or is it just the violence itself. What about its account attracts rufus ?
The third paragraph rocks. as well as the first two.
But then the later bit about the abduction strays from the psychological stuff and spends more time describing the events as they unravel in steps.
I am nosey. I want to see what Rufus sees..in detail, or more about how he apparently gets off reading the report.
I hope that makes sense..or else ignore my crappy commentary. :)

did that stuff up there make sense?
But you know that I like your writing, right? ;__;
Otherwise I would not feel inspired to offer suggestions.
What a poor student I am of creative writing/english! After I posted the "rocks" comment(s), I realized that I was not specific about what it was I thought was spiffy!
I really love the way you refer to Reno as "unhinged"..and Rufus greedily devouring the reports/accounts like they are tasty morsels of depraved minds. :9
I fixated on Reno in regards to Rufus actually...or rather, the other way around. Is it just me reading waaaay too much into your one bit of fic or is Reno the most appealing to Rufus psychologically ? :D
*awaits future chapters* <3

Yes, Rufus is a bit of a voyeur in this! He likes to, as my mother says, live vicariously through others... 'Cause he's, like, a poor repressed rich boy. But his fascination with the Turks and their involvements isn't actually sexual. It's very psychological. Actually, from what all I've written (four chapters), I'm not quite sure of Rufus' sexuality. He's either asexual or bisexual leaning towards gay, but either way he's very repressed and doesn't have a lot of respect towards women because of his mother. Except Elena. He likes Elena (maybe like that, I don't know). Rufus has a lot of issues, but he's not to be taken as a victim of anything :P (he probably wouldn't like it, anyway ( ... )
