[Polly follows easily, her head and eyes swiveling around as she looks for a familiar sign or landmark, as well as taking in the sights -- she wants to remember her way back if she ends up in this part of the city again.]

[It doesn't seem that far especially considering they're only going to Horton. It's the second or third street they pass as they go south. He stops there and pauses.]

Lander is just down the way. Are you going where Desmond lives? I can take you all the way.

[Polly peers down the street in recognition.]

[Giovanni shakes his head.] Hardly a bother. It is on the way to my own rooming as well and where else am I to go? But I would feel better not leaving you either way. [So he's not going to.]

Okay, Mister! [She grabs ahold of his sleeve again, and begins walking whenever he does.]

[He smiles and begins again, heading down Horton to the west now and searching the left side for the apartment building he'd been to once. He was beginning to think maybe it wasn't so bad out here; that maybe the monsters didn't always roam. Or... well, anyway.]

[When the building came into sight, Polly let go of his sleeve and ran the rest of the way -- an impressive speed for someone her size. Once she reached the door, she turned around and waved.]

[Giovanni paused as the girl took off, a bit impressed by her speed to be sure. But he was glad to see her safely back and returned the wave with a small smile.

He resumed walking forward; Marshall was down another block and over some more once he hit Lander so he had to go that way anyway.]
