Hmm... When I was planning on moving up here to Seattle, my dad did a bit to try and talk me out of it. He didn't think that I would be able to make it and that - with the best of intentions - I would fail.

Fast forward two years, and dad admits he has to eat crow whenever people ask him how I'm doing. Because I love it up here, and I'm doing great. Only you can truly know what you need to do and if this is the right idea.

So, I just have a few questions... Is moving to Ohio the right thing to do? You've made family here, would you miss them enough to regret it? You've talked about your father and how draining he is, can you be closer to that? Would being in Ohio truly help you get back on your feet more, financially, than staying here?

Like I said, though, only you can know if this is the right idea. But feels really sudden, and you seem to be jumping into it really quickly (judging by your next post).

1) Yes in my life at the present, I do. I have wanted do this for sometime, i.e. move back east. Yes I have family here, yes I will miss them terribly, but this does not mean I am going there to die, even then I will still visit.
2) My father is still 7 hours away, so its minimum safe distance, I can go visit him but I don't have to stay long.
3) I have been off my feet several times, and am always able to get back on them.

I mostly meant, with the getting on your feet question, is if being in Ohio would be easier to get back on your feet than here?
