On a good day, I reach 55wpm. And I don't touch-type, so that number is MUCH higher when the words are already in my head, and I don't have to keep looking at what I am copying. So, copying is about 45wpm on average, and writing from my head, like this blog, is up to 60wpm, I should think.

Touch Typing
I didn't like this test because it didn't have numbers or symbols; I prefer this test from TyperA (http://www.typera.tk/). I scored 98 words a minute on that test about a year ago.
