Actually, I think this may apply to many kids who had PE or Gym in the 1970s (and possibly earlier). Yes, yes, we all know I hated gym. But this is an odd memory I have tried to describe to people over and over for a while and almost nobody had heard of it. Even busli and ironkite raised an eyebrow at me

I certainly remember it, if not from an actual gym class, I know I heard it on a Dr Demento show in the mid eighties. It is entirely possible I heard it in Gym class too...

That was the first day of gym class (never to be heard again!) at Fairfax High. Apparently it was famous, because lots of people got there already knowing the words.
