You would much rather strive to keep peace than start a fight, though you're not afraid to speak out when something is amiss. You're self-deprecating and have no reason to be. You're sweet and thoughtful. Through your battles with OCD, you show your strength. You're just as likely to post an entry totally geeking out about fakenews or Torchwood as you are providing insight into social and political issues (often outside of your own continent!). You're like Jon. I think that's part of why you like him so much:)
Plus, you live in a country I totally want to move to someday:D
I'm loling pretty hard at your 'alcoholic teachers' tags
It's all too true. There is a bar at the bottom the driveway of the middle and high school here--so it's probably more financially stable than the schools themselves.
Aw, take it, girl! And you're welcome. It's a lot less than you deserve, but I guess it's a start. I really need to start replying to your entries more often. You have a lot of fascinating insight and, as somebody who has OCD herself, I know where you're coming from.
They don't come to class drunk or anything (unlike one teacher where I used to live who liked to smoke a joint before class). It's kind of funny in a sick way that a bar is so close to a school, but yeah the alcoholism and drug usage in West Virginia is exceedingly high. People basically have nothing to do, so instead of changing the situation they do whatever they can to forget it.
You're an immensely talented person. Your writing and artwork resonate with so many people. I've said it before--you have so many adversities in your life and yet you still find the will to create all that you do. You are strong in mind, body and beliefs. You'd rather people's viewpoints be challenged by what they see and hear than have whatever media outlet pander to them. You're a prolific reader, and share what you've gained from what you've read (which is great for those not so prolific *cough*). You have so many interests and so much knowledge about society, history, film, art, literature, language and religion, that I'm positive that being your friend has taught me more and has inspired me to learn more in a year than I ever did in 13 years in the American public school system. You can show your love for people through your artistic talent, and always fret when life prevents you from giving them as soon as you want to (don't). You're more committed to your faith than so many, and we celebrate it with you. I can't emphasize how
( ... )
Pardon me, ma'am. I believe I might be in near tears (I FUCKING HATE CRYING BUT FOR SOME REASON HAVE LEARNED TO DO IT A LOT THE PAST TWO YEARS) in the best of ways. Seriously, this means so much to me. ♥

Wow, serously? I thought you meant it as a joke; that they were really, really bad teachers or something. I'm sorry, that's fucked up.
