I was talking about this wit my councilor today. Yup, I do go to one. Mostly about issues with my dad, but yes, Mary, comes up a great deal.

It's true, we may be hopelessly doomed. Ya, It may be too little too late. I'm OK with that. I'm in the situation mostly (mostly) of my own creation, so I get to sleep in it.

I am not making any illusions that everything is awesome and perfect.. but the underlaying issues have been solved for the most part.

Part of what made the relationship not work was never, ever, doing stuff like this.
