Here are the Wonder Woman gauntlets I made for my best friend (done in Wool-ease on size 6 needles). I modified a mitten pattern for the charted work, and just kind of winged the wristband pattern. I think she liked them.
Too bad I can't find any charted BSG designs. ::sigh::
ETA: I cast on 31 stitches on size 6 straights, knitted about an inch of ribbing, then 2 rows of garter, then pattern, then 2 rows of garter, then an inch of rib. After I was done, I seamed the back and wove in the ends.
Pattern: I used the logo portion of this mitten pattern, modifying it slightly. At the edges, I made the red/yellow/red lines reflect one another, and then added two yellow stitches on each end.
