Although there's no objective evidence to support this claim, last time M,W and I were watching Heroes we decided that someone needed the superpower of having the ability to warm a can of soup and lo and behold this week he has come to fruition and his first use of said power was to cause a mug of tea to go into a boiling spitting fit.  Still no

I think it would be very fitting (and extremely annoying) if there were a meta-hero whose ability is to endow other people with random abilities for a short period of time.
