Thanks, lovey! I hope the things-going-well bug is contagious so that everybody gets some of it. :)

Thank you, Brandi! Generally I am pretty low-key about birthdays, so I suppose I was just carrying on my tradition, hehee.

You deserve a great birthday and good on ya for it! After reading this post, I'm even more excited for your present. You'll really love it.
I hope that cake was as delicious as it looks. Should we Cafe Latte when we go to Stars?

The best part about that cake is that it is chocolate cake, but instead of being covered in frosting, it is covered in chocolate and vanilla mousse. With chocolate flakes on top. It. Is. Awesome.

Have you ever known me to pass an opportunity to visit Cafe Latté? I think Stars + Cafe Latté is a brilliant idea, especially since I bet we'll be just in time for pumpkin pecan pie season. Also, did you know that they have THE best mochas ever? They're even better than the ones from Espresso 22, which, as you know, is saying A LOT. (That was a whole lot of commas for one sentence. The end.)

That is a VERY bold statement. Perhaps I should put your assertion to the test and critique their mochas myself...Oh, and I'm WAY ahead of you as far as the pecan pumpkin pie. That dessert owns me and I just don't mind!
So now that we have cable, I've been watching Emeril and he is officially my boyfriend. Ian is right, the way to my heart is through my stomach;)
I hope your cough goes away. I know that plagued you for a while. If you were on facebook, I'd send you some cough drops as a gift.

I am far too excited for pie now. This dialog has ruined me!

I don't know what's wrong with me these days: I totally imagined a little man traveling in a tiny boat through an anatomically correct stomach and esophagus, and then being like "WAIT A MINUTE, I CAN'T GET TO THE HEART THIS WAY!!" Sometimes I do miss the days of voluntarily being electrocuted and F1 hybrid vigor.

I hope that my cough goes away too! It's really crazy; I didn't get sick at all in Indonesia, where I ate food from street vendors and probably drank questionable water on more than one occasion, and as soon as I arrive back in the US, my body goes all lungs-of-death on me. I have been consuming Ricolas to the point where I think I have passed the daily recommended amount; it says on the package that if you eat too many of them they will start acting like a laxative. I guess I'll find out if that's true.

And I don't understand why I don't have a pie icon already.
This was a really strange train of thought.

Thanks, Quel! And guess what: today I got a super awesome birthday card in the mail, sent by this one really super awesome girl I know who lives in Texas. She pretty much rocks. ;)

I've never been to Las Vegas before; I think the constant flashing lights and the Pussycat Dolls would overstimulate my brain in a really bad way, hehee.

Everytime I'm in Vegas, all I want to do is take photos. It'd be like, a goldmine of neon and models!

I'll be moving there by January, so I'm very excited. :D

happy birthday honey.
I am glad to hear that is was a good one.
Not odd at all, by the way, that you spent the morning cleaning. The morning of my birthday was similar.
Here's to you! Have an amazing 22nd year.
