We were thinking about adding one to our house, but don't have a good spot :(

There's something comforting about fire in a box keeping your house warm :) Maybe it's because it is how I grew up.

Though when we switched wood stoves to one with a glass door I can't say I was disappointing to watch the flames. It is calming (and cozy).

Thats one of my favorites...just staring at it. On top of being able to crank the heat to 90 in the middle of winter without paying any more on the electric bill than in the summer.
