What is it with people? I've always been told to follow my instincts when it comes to life decisions. But when I make my decision, I'm scolded for it because it wasn't the right decision

I agree. Fuck them. Nothing is useless if it makes you feel like living. I can't think of many things worse than believing you are stuck for life in a job/situation that you can't stand. And there will always be time and opportunity to change your mind, so long as you are willing to face the potential consequences.

Believe me, I've tried to be so many things, and I still don't know what I really want. I've sort of decided that the best thing I can do for myself right now is to keep a job that pays the bills where I can see that I'm accomplishing something, even if it's small, and just sort of "be" and see where life takes me.
