Oh wow, this was really powerful. I loved the choice of Finn's POV, especially with his completely inability to understand how someone could do something so horrible to another person. His acknowledgement that Kurt had made him uncomfortable in the past was a great moment of characterization and I loved the brotherly comforting at the end.

I'd love to see a follow-up if you plan on writing one. Another POV (Burt? Blaine? Rachel's dads? Mercedes?) would be an interesting way of exploring the aftermath of such horrific hate crime.

I'm really glad that you liked Finn's POV. I originally tried writing this in 'Finn speak' but I'm not, nor have I ever been, a teenage boy so it was awful. It means a lot that you liked it & thought that the POV worked even though the words were perhaps not what Finn would use.

I am planning on writing a follow up. I was going to write Blaine because I wanted to explore that side of it. I would love to get into a complicated every character aftermath but I did that once & while I am still proud of the fic (an American Idol RPF called Honesty Is Honestly The Hardest Thing in case you were interested) it became such a monster that I wouldn't even consider attempting it again! :)

But yeah, I still intend to write a Blaine follow-up, I just need to find the time! :D

Give a person a heartattack, holy crap, I felt like I was running with them through those woods trying to get to poor Kurt. God i'm wide the hell awake now, lol. This was pretty intense, and I liked it, but I think I have to lay down right now.

Listening to 'Street Spirit' and reading this at the same time gives it such an ominous and eerie feeling. This was amazing. Kudos c:

Oh that's such a phenomenal song!!!

Yay!! for the eerie feeling. I write scripts and normally would leave it with "they run through the woods" and count on the cinematography, directing, editing and sound editing to give the ominous feeling (which I suppose playing 'Street Spirit' while reading actually did :D).
