day 2

went swimming sunday afternoon, and then again today, on the 0-1650 plan. 700 yards both days. Felt pretty easy. At some point on Monday, I felt a little soreness, but just enough to tell me that it hadn't been *too* easy.

I'll go again tomorrow, to get a third day in this week. Next week is three days at 900 yards.

It's a 6 week plan of swimming workouts to get up to swimming a mile nonstop. I think it's designed for triathletes, but I figure it's a place to start, since it's been so long.

It's doing pretty well - a little dry and a little red & itchy, but as long as I am good about greasing I think I'm keeping up with it. (I've also been, as you know, under a bit of stress lately, so I'm sure that's part of it.) it's doing well enough that I feel comfortable continuing to swim, for now.
