More dice-and-paper pulp gaming...

In light of the recent posts (re: pulp gaming miniatures), I thought some interested parties on this list might be interested in this game, Hollow Earth Expedition.

It's produced by a local, independent game company in Seattle, and is a pretty high-quality package -- good art, and a solid game system.

Okay, not the world's most original premise, but sounds like it might be fun.

It's a neat take on dice pool systems, which -- with the custom dice -- eliminate the need to roll giant buckets of dice; my only gripe with it is that it comes off a bit more "Victorian Scientific Romance" than "adventure pulp" -- but I suspect that won't be much of a deterrent to you, specifically. ;)

Trouble is I already did "Einstein at the Earth's Core" in FF 3 (the adventurers are hired to help Einstein try a REALLY big version of the Michaelson-Moreley experiment, across the diameter of the Hollow Earth) and "Elvis at the Earth's Core" (in which the Big Bad wants to build a theme park there) in Elvis: The Legendary Tours.
