Wildside Press has always paid all royalties due to authors, unlike many other small presses. Sometimes we're a few weeks late, depending on cash flow, but it always gets paid. Mr. Lockhart:

I apologize profusely for the difficulty with your subscription. I agree that your experience has been unacceptable.

Over the course of the past several months, we've moved our magazine printing operation to a new vendor to achieve higher production values; undertaken an editorial transition to a new and more efficient team; and experienced turnover in our in-house shipping staff. The result will be a better, stronger magazine -- but along the way, these changes have caused some delays in our subscription and customer service operation. We have been working to resolve customer problems as they arise, and, again, I apologize that yours has taken so long to fix.

I have sent you an email detailing how we will fix your subscription problem promptly and attempt to make it up to you. I hope you will allow us to resolve this matter and proceed to serve your subscription.

Sincerely,
Stephen Segal
