Entitlement mentality: Things rich people say

This is capped from the comments of a Wall Street Journal article,"College Debt Hits Well-Off: Upper-Middle-Income Households See Biggest Jumps in Student Loan Burden".  The article mentions, in part, children of higher-income households attending tier-two universities, and even community colleges, to save money.

Should have said something like, "While I wish tuition tax credits were extended past the $180,000 mark, I feel very blessed and fortunate to be able to send my kids to college at top tier schools. May middle-income families are unable to do this, so I support the President's attempt to level the playing field."

Unless of course you don't believe in leveling the playing field... in which case this is a different discussion altogether.

Undoubtedly, but given what she wrote about "good productive citizens who are America's future" in the context of sending her kids to Ivys, I don't think she really believes in leveling the playing field.
