Awesome, EP, that you're going to stick it out, no matter what.
Linear algebra was the only math class I liked during college.

Matrices are a lot like sudoku :)

I went through a Linear course halfway before dropping out of WWU, so at least part of this will be refresher, thankfully. ALso going through a bunch of minor Linear and Diff Eq techniques in P Chem, Calculus and the like.

As a 7, I found it more entertaining to talk and help people with homework than it was to work on the stuff myself.

When I found I just couldn't force myself to do anything in college anymore, I put together a study group from class. We would get together to work on the homework. People would get stuck and I would help them out (digging up options for solution). Since I worked on the problems and I understood them, I wrote them out and turned it in. That is the only way I passed one of my classes that semester.

My standard practice for studying for a test was to go through my notes while eating the meal before my class (breakfast or lunch). I don't know if that is a 7 thing or a my brain sort of thing. I think splitting my attention between putting food in my mouth meant that it was easier to focus on my notes.

Just ideas if they help, from a 7. Good luck.

Thanks. Those are good ideas. I did the working with a study partner thing once and it definitely helped the way you say. Unfortunately between having straight blocks of classes and going to work when not in class, this hasn't been possible this semester.

I'll try the studying while eating and see if things stick.
