[ He catches sight of it a liiiittle too late, so he half-dodges, half-tosses up his magical shield. The impact sends him rolling one direction, while the gravestone ricochets off in another.

He springs to his feet, shield up and gun out ]

[ Her eyes' on the prize-- which means these lovely angels. Kicking them into one another, swinging them around-- she only just notices there's another man at the scene.

Drawing a ring from the invisible Purgatorio to the real world, she steps into sight. ]

My, my, is this a little out of your league or am I meeting a newcomer?

[ Warren's eyebrows go up- he's seen a lot of things in his day, but this is definitely new.

He also studiously ignores that question ]

I really hope you're not the one who threw that at me. [ he angles his head in the direction of the gravestone- wherever it crashed ]
