The sound cut off as the answering machine beeped loudly and clicked. Olidamarra smirked. Evil gods always talked too much.
“Bitter ex?” He ventured, running his finger along the rim of his wine glass.
“I can see you’ve got perception in your portfolio” The Mother of Cats wriggled in his lap and laughed. “But you don’t know the half of it”.
She purred and pulled him into a kiss, and he forgot all about the less-than-half of it.
