Ooh, and the lunar eclipse - was that the one a few years ago? My sister used to be really into astronomy so we have lots and lots of photos of the moon going all yellow-ish and pink-ish and then black...

I think that eclipse must have been in the 90's because I'm sure I was still in school then. It was fantastic, I can still remember this red moon so big and close you wanted to reach out and touch it.
The other lunar eclipses have not been visible from here though :(

That miracle of German engineering saved our asses that early morning. It was after my senior prom and my bro fell asleep at the wheel (actually all 4 people in the car fell asleep), it was only for a split second, but we hit this big block of cement at about 50mph.
I was in the front passenger seat but had my seat belt on and walked out with just a few scratches and a bad case of whiplash. My brother walked out of the car too but later they had to remove his spleen. The other two in the backseat were fine even though they had not been wearing their seat belts!
It was funny because cops came and an ambulance and I was talking to the cop about what had happened but he thought I was just a passerby and while I was looking for my purse the cops and paramedics got everyone else on the ambulance and left me there with the car! XD
BTW- I haven't forgotten about the Molly icon. I'm sorry it's taken me so long :)

Oh yeah - that link to the Florescent Bays was unbelievable! How beautiful.
4. A play on Broadway (meeting Bradley Cooper and Paul Rudd afterwards)
I adore Paul Rudd. Lucky girl!

Happens to me quite a lot, it's become a bit of a problem really, I just sit and stare.
But yeah, the Fluorescent bays here are unbelievable. You have to go when there's no moon though, so it's a bit tricky. Those pics on that site are the first good pictures I've seen of it, it's almost impossible to photograph the light in the water.

*sigh* That man! He was just as dreamy and as nice as I imagined him. I wish they would give him better roles in Hollywood, he's such a talented actor.
