I accidentally bashed my pugs eye on Saturday. It still looks very sore (as in, his eye is half-closed and has been since), and his whole demeanor is really down. Do you think I should go to the vet to check it out or is this something that might just improve within a few days?

Thanks for any input! I'm pretty worried about the little dude :/

I would call the vet and describe the problem to them, at the very least.

Vet. He may need drops and could be in pain. I had a reverse situation..my pug bumped into my eye! It hurt like a bitch for days..ended up I needed drops for the inflammation, etc.

Hell yes you should got to the vet. Don't even need to think twice about that.

You should always go to the vet asap when it comes to a possible eye injury. Quick action could help save the eye. Hope your little one is alright!
