Make the cake. You gotta have cake! Use 1 can of pop instead of the eggs and oil. It's a tad gooier than the "normal" one you get, but it's a lot healthier so you don't feel as bad by eating it all, especially if you use diet pop.

Or, if it's devil's food cake, use 1- 15oz can of pureed pumpkin. Yes, just a can of pumpkin and the cake mix. Really thick batter, but it works! And no, as long as it's chocolate, you can't taste the pumpkin. I like this better than the pop cake :)

Yea for customers who recognize other a-holes. They rock!

The can I have says 15oz (425 g). I figure since canned pumpkin isn't exactly viscus they measure it by weight and not fluidity. But, considering a gram is a ml, then I just figured it out for ya :) Just remember that when you start stiring, it's not going to look like it's going to work. Keep at it. It WILL be thick. I would make sure the spoon is a sturdy one. Oh, and make sure it's plain pumpkin. One of my co-workers used pumpkin pie mix. Not so good.

And, I didn't use a regular size cake pan for it. I used a smaller sized one (like a brownie pan). It doesn't raise as much as a normal cake. In fact, it's seems more like a cross between a brownie and cake. But I really liked them. My boss made them into cupcakes and they turned out good, too.

i still have to get the pumpkin. i might just make it the normal way because getting stuff with the massive storm coming in may be hard.

thanks for the tips though!
