Expedia.com: как из-за технического сбоя аннулировался билет и пришлось делать чарджбэк
Пожалуй, этот тот редкий случай, когда я пишу подобную статью с улыбкой на лице. Казалось бы, чему радоваться? Мой рейс из Вильнюса в Киев вроде как не улетел, пропали деньги, плюс сопутствующая нервотрепка. Но нет, ничего подобного: дело в том, что я купил этот билет на украинскую авиакомпанию МАУ за 38 долларов на сайте Expedia, но за пару недель до вылета мои планы поменялись и я отказался от перелета. Но билет конечно же невозвратный, так что на потерянные 38 долларов попросту махнул рукой. Но в день вылета мне приходит мейл следующего содержания, мол, мой рейс отменен авиакомпанией МАУ. Честно говоря, я даже обрадовался - надо же, раз они отменили рейс, то я вполне могу потребовать свои 38 долларов назад! Посему, звоню в колл-центр авиакомпании МАУ и уточняю, как мне получить назад деньги? Их ответ меня "огорошил", те ответили, что рейс вовсе не отменен. Я говорю, что получил сообщение об отмене рейса от Expedia, а те в ответ "Да-да, мы знаем, вы не первый звоните, у Экспедии системный сбой и они ошибочно тысячам клиентов разослали письма об отмене рейсов, хотя наш самолет улетел четко по расписанию". Вот как, очень интересно, подумал ваш покорный слуга -
Если это сбой Экспедии, то пусть возвращают деньги за билет, решил я и обратился к ним на мейл отдела по работе с клиентами:

Вскоре приходит их ответ, где они повторно просят прислать им скрин посланного мейла. Мне не жалко, отсылаю им скрин повторно, а параллельно звоню в колл-центр, как они просят. Но звонок ничего не решает, они долго держат на линии, а потом говорят, что пытались дозвониться до колл-центра МАУ, но там не отвечает телефон.

Вопрос про Анну Каренину поставил бота в тупик и он отреагировал ответом, предусмотренным на непонятные фразы. И знаете что? Все было бы очень смешно, если бы не было так грустно. Допустим, мне глубоко пофиг, ибо я не собирался лететь и мысленно смирился с потерей смешных 38 долларов. Но как быть людям, которые из-за сбоя у Экспедии реально не улетели? Им не так весело как мне. Они пишут и звонят в Экспедию, а им в ответ дурацких ботов запускают.
Хорошо, что есть чарджбэк. Сегодня всю эту переписку переслал в Мастеркард, пусть заберут у Экспедии пусть смешные деньги, но деньги мои.
