So it is not tomorrow, and there is not inauguration post.
Ehe. Sorry. Am still waiting for the pictures to be developed, but the main points:
a) It was cold.
b) It was awesomeAm moving back to apartment tomorrow. For a variety of reasons, I really don't feel ready for this semester at all -- the Financial Aid screwup last semester threw me off-

But you're brilliant and wonderful, and it will all work out thereby.
-- Suzaku drunk. I am intrigued by your ideas and wish to subscribe to your newsletter. hee.

I think I'll feel better when/if I hear back from the library. If I can secure that job, I think I can make the rest of it work out.
I blame #ri. And Mith, but mostly #ri this time. Suzaku does not drink. It is therefore quite interesting when he does. *grin* aaaaaaalso I kind of want the outtake with tipsy!Suzaku and Lloyd badtouch under the guise of hurt/comfort. That part is Mith's fault.

2. Best of luck with beginning-of-semester woes. Obligations and Enjoyment have this distressing habit of developing an inverse relationship with one another that can really muck up one's priorities. Have another hug.
3. Pff. I'll admit it. I'm a wee bit jealous of all the historyfagging that's clearly going on behind the scenes here. People still look at me funny when I gush about things that actually happened. ;)

2. *accepts hug gratefully* I think I'll find more of an equilibrium once I get into the swing of classes -- right now I'm in the "oh my god do I have everything I need" panic zone, which is no fun.
3. I know, I can actually discuss the things I'm writing to non-fannish people and sound respectable. Like this afternoon when I picked up about 40 books at the local free bookstore, 30 of which were research (mostly for all_he_ever stuff), and I could call them research and now my grandmother thinks I'm writing entirely respectable historical fiction.
...I didn't mention the parts about the boysex. *cough*

Do they pay tutors at your school? If they do, see what you can do about tutoring an intro or major required class; those usually mean a lot of people who will need help in one way or the other (or at least that's what I've been finding, happily), and it means lots of money and quickly.
I know about being fucked over financially, though; I'm still trying to figure out what the hell's happened with the check I sent in back in November for that (almost Feb, still isn't cashed, but it says I'm paid up...), and now with all this other shit that's popped up... I hope things work out that you'll be able to be at ACEN, but what will be will be.
Very intrigued by the project. Can't wait to see what you lovely ladies do with it!
Also, I can has long story plz? And can't wait for pics!

They do. I've actually been recommended twice for the English tutoring program, but I have to take a class to do that, and it conflicts with rehearsals.
-- ack, I do hope that works out in your favor. ACen's tricky for other reasons -- I have Friday classes this semester, and I'm only allowed one absence, and I'm taking that absence for Katsucon -- but I hope I can make it out there.
Pics are forthcoming, as are more stories on the project. I have an assload of research materials now, ha.

Hm. Maybe you can work out something on the side with the profs? They're usually willing to work out things like that, especially with the economy the way it is right now.
It'll work. I have a second steady job now which definitely helps, and I just need to be careful on spending till we figure out how much this will actually cost.
Now, is it one unexcused absence, or one absence period? (tricksy college student is tricksy)
:D! Can't wait!
