I think I saw this advertised in game_thrones yesterday, though it took me until now to get off my butt and sign up for it.

We Love the Women That the Fandom Hates is what it sounds like: a celebration of female characters who come in for their undue share of fannish vitriol

And have fun on vacation -- you're right up near my neck of the woods! :D I think I'm going to have a lot of fun with this one; it's been a while since I've broken my meta hat out, and talking about Katniss's character arc lets me talk about a lot of things I disagree with a good chunk of the fandom about.

...I feel like half my dash is Homestuck fanart these days, but that's my own fault for following so many Homestuck artists' tumblrs.

OOo, it looks awesome and shiny. I might do the lovely trio from KH: Kairi, Namine, and Xion. They're awesome, yet get precious little love. D: If I can only sign up for one, I think it'll be Xion; Kairi's got a few people signed up for her already, and Namine tends to fare better than the other two.

fandom hate seems to know little boundaries when it comes to women
