Thank you so much for sticking with us, seriously, through thick and thin and headcanon and Snow. Yeah, Snow's a monster, but he's such an effective monster and I continue to love inflicting him on the setting. :grin: I'm glad you had that sense of dread about what he'd do to Finnick's family, and I can tell you right now it's good to keep a healthy specter of it in the back of your head whenever Snow's about.

Somehow I feel the next part of this Finnick-saga will be even worse with the dread. It's like you can just put Snow in a setting and he kills everything. Mood, color, people, etc., etc.

I have adored this. I'm rather afraid in five years, I'll get it tangled in my head with canon. I'm really looking forward to more--I think my only regret is that you can't make it to the endgame with these viewpoint characters. I really would like to see your take on someone besides Katniss' view of how things finally play out.

I can't believe I missed you posting this. I was so devoted with S&C!
Anyway, this one was absolutely wonderful. Your writing style is just so amazing. Instead of exhausting us with a play-by-play of Katniss's Games, you let us see them through Finnick's eyes. I really love his family dynamic and how low Snow will stoop in order to get Finnick to do what he wants. Ugh. So wonderful!

Wow. Just. Wow. As someone else said above, this is definitely becoming my headcanon. The two of you have filled in the HG world and made it so much rounder and rich. The way you wrote Snow was positively terrifying, it gave me shivers. Here's to hoping there will be a sequel to this!
