Stolen from aimmyarrowshigh, because I haven't done anything like it in a while and there are a number of new things I'm interested in, whether or not they qualify as proper fandoms. plus, I hate my theories class this semester and I want to not think about the ridiculous stupid workload for it, and thinking about this is better.

1. The first character I fell in love with: Cinna. I liked Katniss well enough from the beginning, but Cinna waltzed away from my heart from his first appearance, especially with the gentleness and kindness he showed to Katniss.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: You know, I was kind of lukewarm on Peeta until Catching Fire the first time I read the books -- and arguably until Mockingjay. Then I fell for him hard, and when I reread the series, I adored him right off the bat and keep founding new reasons to find him awesome. I guess he crept up on me.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t: Er. I'm pretty sure that the fandom's darlings are also my darlings. Though I have developed a weird fondness for Cashmere and Gloss based on the fanon Mith and I built around them.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: I am not nearly so down on Gale as most of the people in the comment section at Mark Reads seem to be. I like the guy. I don't always approve of his choices, but I get where he's ( ... )

11. My favorite things about your fandom: Pretty much everyone I've met in it so far has been really lovely and gracious! There's a lot of really good fic out there that gives me exactly what I didn't manage to get in the canon, the fanmixes and manips are amazing, and my friends have been good-natured about me dragging them into my current obsession. And the world I have to play with is unbefuckinglievably rich.
12. My least favorite things about your fandom: Lack of porn. Seriously. There's some stuff that skirts an R rating, but even the R ratings are usually more about violence and other types of disturbing content than sex. And dangit, sometimes I just want to read the filthy filthy smut. Also, the "Team Peeta" - "Team Gale" language annoys me.
13. My five favorite characters: Finnick, Annie, Katniss, Johanna, and PeetaHaymitchRueCinnaThreshBoggsMagsBeeteeChaffCashmereGlossandallthevictorsever. I'm not kidding about basically loving the entire cast.
