Merry Christmas and/or happy holiday season to all of you! I hope you're all recovering from any food-induced comas from last night. I've had a pretty good holiday so far -- mithrigil's down here with my family and me, and we've alternated between spending quality time with the folks and writing our asses off.

(I have this whole elaborate thing evolving in my head. I should probably make a slightly more coherent nattering-about-it post later. But guh, all the talents the tributes would manifest would be so freaking cool.)

I know, right? It's so delightful. :D Yuletide's one of those times of year where femslash seems to be out and about more than usual, and it's nice.

Those fairytales were amazing...! I love reinterpretations and f/f versions. I'll need to link my roommate to these because she's always the one recommending things like this to me.

It's funny you've been thinking a lot about selkies recently, because I have been too and even started a comic about them this past semester.

So do I -- reimaginings of fairy tales are some of my favorite things ever, and giving them a queer spin is just the icing on the cake. I hope your roommate likes them!

Very good haul. *grins* One of the bonuses of getting fairytale fic is the freaking gorgeous imagery in so many of them. I want to roll around in all of it forever.
