Dear 2010 Yuletide Santa

Nov 20, 2010 16:06

First, thanks so much for writing for me! I'm excited about the requests I made this year (even if thinking them up took a while), and I'd be thrilled to see any of them filled. I try to give my Yuleauthors (Yulethors?) a lot of options because I know the matching process isn't always exact. That being said, if the prompts really aren't working for ( Read more... )

Goodbye Chains, Oglaf, and Fairy Tales, although I only signed up for the last--ack, I usually sign up for fifty fandoms; choosing ten was a wrench!

I think I signed up for nineteen. I took advantage of the bucket offer thing. That's still fewer than I usually do, though.

It would not have occured to me that Oglaf was ficcable. And somehow I never knew the Xoan ambassador had a name.

. . . but I do hope somebody fills that, because it would be ridiculously hilarious.

He calls himself Sandoval in the Masquerade strips. Whether or not that's his actual name is ambiguous.

I know there are a few other Oglaf requests, so hopefully someone will get Ivan/Sandoval. :D

Oh yay! I didn't know you read Goodbye Chains. (I swear, each new strip seems to break my heart more.)

I found it a few weeks ago and read the whole thing in a few sittings. Love the humor, love the depths of the characters in that particular setting!

Mmmmmm, Goodbye Chains AND Oglaf. You are awesome. I need to eventually investigate Yuletide.

Yuletide's a lot of fun! This is my third year doing it (fourth, technically, but I had to drop last year), and I love getting the chance to spread my fannish wings a little. Plus, the fandoms I'm craziest about now are almost all Yuletide-eligible, which is nice.

Goodbye Chains and Oglaf are probably the webcomics I'm stalking most avidly right now, albeit for different reasons. So awesome, though.

Oglaf seems to have a good number of requests, so even if I don't get Sandoval/Ivan, hopefully it'll still get written for Yuletide. Because they are kind of amazing.
